Arruela de Pressão

Conhecida também como “arruela mola”, a arruela de pressão é um complemento de fixação mecânico.  Considerada diferente por causa do seu corte e da sua ponta dobrada em forma helicoidal.

Além de ter a função de distribuir carga, a arruela de pressão tem a capacidade de gerar tensão entre os outros fixadores. Sendo assim ela provoca um travamento caso seja girada por outros fatores (seu corte elevado encosta na cabeça do fixador, travando-o).

A arruela de pressão é muito utilizada quando falamos de montagem em conjuntos mecânicos que sofrem grandes esforços e vibrações. Um elemento muito útil já que ajuda a evitar o desgaste e afrouxamento dos locais onde é aplicada.

Resistentes a variações de temperatura, algumas de suas principais aplicações são em trilhos ferroviários, estruturas metálicas e também em motores. A arruela de pressão é encontrada em diferentes tipos de matéria prima, por exemplo o aço inox e o ferro.
